1. How many years have you been working as a DJ?
3 months pa lang! O haaaaa!!! hahaha!
2. How did you get your start as a DJ?
It was a big stroke of luck! I was just an ordinary listener na nagda-drop by sa Campus Radio. Bumabati on air then I was told that I have a potential to be a DJ. After a couple of months, they called me and asked me if I am interested to be a DJ and I said yes!
3. Has it always been your dream to become a DJ? Why or why not?
Yeah. Yes, when I was in high school years ago, I loved impersonating my favorite DJs and there came my realization that I want to be one of them someday.
4. Do you still see yourself working in this field several years from now? Why or why not?
Yes, b’coz this is a dream come true for me and I want this dream to last through the years.
5. What’s the most memorable thing that happened to you on-air?
Maybe those technical bloopers and those times I come to duty unprepared. Nakakatense!
6. What do you consider to be the highlights of your career so far?
As of now being recognized by the listeners is a good start for my career.
7. How do you keep your listeners tuned in to your program?
By incorporating who I really am everytime I do my jock talk. I believe that sharing a bit of myself with my listeners makes me connect with them more easily.
8. What do you think are the challenging parts of being a DJ?
For me, the challenging part of being a DJ is how you can cope up with the changes that happens day by day. Being a DJ is like a house that needs constant maintenance and renovation.
9. How about the best part?
The best part is being loved by your listeners and being a public figure whereas people around you see you not just an ordinary person.
10. What can you tell other people who are also aspiring to become a DJ?
Make sure that you really have passion to be a DJ. It’s passion that will drive you to stay and enjoy being a DJ.
