Featured Lucenahin: Dian on Chic Style
Hi I’m Diana Limpo, 27 years old and currently working as an Executive Assistant at BNP Design Studio here in Lucena City.
Being a proud single parent, I am usually as busy as a bee. Most of the time, I stay home during my days off, but I still find some time to have some fun by reading Wattpad stories and surfing online to see new trends for clothes, shoes, and bags. Fashion just makes me feel so alive! 🙂
Para sa iyo, ano ang fashion?
For me, fashion is the freedom to express yourself and your current mood.
Pwede mo bang i-share sa amin ang background ng iyong fashion style at bakit ito ang napili mo?
Actually, wala talaga akong preferred na fashion style. Depende kasi sa mood ko kung anong damit ang particular na oufit ko for the day. I often search online, like on Instagram, to see different fashion styles that might give me inspiration. Pero usually, I wear a chic fashion style because it gives me a feminine vibe. It’s very classy and at the same time fun and girly! ^_^
Sino ang iyong fashion icon (local & international)? Pwede mo bang i-share sa amin kung bakit mo siya naging idol pagdating sa fashion?
Sa local, favorite fashion icon ko talaga si Anne Curtis. I just love the way she wears her clothes. Kahit ano kasing isuot niya bumabagay sa kanya. In short, ang galing lang talaga niyang magdala ng damit! 😀
Sa international naman, I go with Paris Hilton. Sobrang fan niya kasi ako, especially when it comes to “girly stuff.” Like Anne Curtis, lahat nang isuot niya, bumabagay sa kanya. 🙂
Saan ka madalas mag-shopping dito sa Lucena? Pwede ka bang magbigay ng 5 stores kung saan mo nabibili ang mga damit mo?
SM, Pacific Mall, Metro, Ajegram, Damit Atbp., and Pretty 99.
Ano ang usual na outfit mo kapag pupunta ka sa Bayan? How about pag mag-sho-shopping ka sa mall? How about kapag nagtra-travel ka?
Kapag nasa Bayan ako, I usually wear a simple top, denim shorts, and flip-flops. Sa mall naman, I wear crop tops, high waisted shorts / pants, and my all-time favorite shoe brand Vans.
When I’m travelling, I make it a point to wear comfy clothes like blouses (preferably printed). denim jeans, and sneakers.
Saan ka madalas pumuntang lugar dito sa Lucena wearing your OOTD?
Office, malls, and sa Bayan.
Anu-ano ang iyong wardrobe essentials na hindi pwedeng mawala sa bagahe mo kapag nagbi-biyahe?
Scarf, jacket, or cardigan. Hindi kasi natin masasabi for sure kung anong magiging weather natin, kaya it’s better to be prepared than be sorry later, right? Besides, ayoko din namang masayang ang effort ko sa OOTD ko. Hehe! 😀
Meron ka bang pinagpapatahian ng damit tuwing may party or other special occasions dito sa Lucena? If yes, anu-anong mga klase ng damit ang ipinatatahi mo at saan matatagpuan ang mga tahiang ito?
None. Karamihan kasi sa damit ko binibili ko sa boutiques or sponsored lang galing sa closet ng “maganda” kong kapatid. Hehe! 😛
Paano mo inaalagaan ang iyong mga outfit? Pwede mo bang i-share sa amin ang iyong techniques when it comes to taking care of your clothes.
In washing my clothes, I prefer to do them by hand para hindi agad sila masira. I always make sure to place them in a cool place that is not directly exposed to sunlight kasi too much sunlight can affect clothes’ color and texture. Lastly, most of my clothes are hung inside my closet para hindi sila nagugusot.
Since malapit na ang summer, anu-anong fashion tips ang pwede mong ibahagi sa mga Lucenahin na gaya mo?
Just wear your most comfortable clothes. For boys, try wearing muscle shirts and shorts this summer para “cool” pa rin ang feeling kahit “hot” ang weather! Plus, don’t forget to wear a cute pair of slippers or sneakers. For sure, a lot of girls out there would notice you. Hehe! 😛
Sa girls naman, avoid wearing thick clothes. Instead, wear thin ones like crop tops, t-shirts, shorts, and skirts with light colors para maaliwas sa mata at presko suotin. Pair them with flip-flops and flat sandals, but make sure to make yourself feel comfortable and look respectable pa rin kasi at the end of the day, iyon pa din ang pinakaimportante sa pagiging isang babae. Girl Power! 😛
Bukod sa present fashion style mo, meron ka pa bang gustong i-try na ibang style? If yes, ano ito at bakit?
Honestly, I want to try cosplay styles. Nacu-cutean kasi ako sa mga cosplayer and I really admire their creativity when it comes to playing with the combination of colors and designs. 😀
Anu-ano ang maipapayo mo sa ibang Lucenahin na gusto ring i-try ang fashion style na katulad ng sa iyo?
If you would like to try my chic style or any other fashion style, you have to ask yourself first these questions: Saan ba ako pupuntang lugar at ano ba ang weather ngayon? Kasi dito kayo magbabase ng particular clothes na isusuot niyo.
The chic style a good place to start kasi it will give you plenty of opportunities to be creative, so take advantage of it.
Always be adventurous with fashion. Do not wear the same printed colors and patterns. Consider your skin tone too. It really helps a lot in choosing the right outfit.
Lastly, always prepare your camera for the perfect OOTD opportunity! ^_^
