Organic Tiangge sa Parke

Last time, we have discussed about getting fit and healthy here in our beloved city of Lucena. Now, we’ll take you to a healthier level by going green and organic!

Even though there are lot of fruits and vegetables that are available in the market, still some of us are bit cynical to buying it. We are first making sure if there are no harmful pesticides as well as fertilizers that was used so that it would be safe for consumption. We want to go as natural as possible for us to be healthy.

Do you know that here in Lucena you can have access to the organic vegetables and products that you are craving for? And you can find it right in the heart of the City!

If you happen to go to Perez Park near the Quezon Capitol during a Friday, as early as 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon (depending on the number of shoppers and the the available supplies), you will see there some stalls there that sells different kinds of organic products like organic rice, salabat, malunggay powder, tablea, fresh passion fruit juice concentrate, and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.

Dubbed as “Organic Tiangge sa Parke” this project aims for us to patronize our own native organic products and also to promote a healthy lifestyle. This project was first initiated on the year 2011 and is still active until now with the participation of the members of the Organic Farmers of Quezon.

So, what are you waiting for? Drop by and shop at the “Organic Tiangge sa Parke”. Go for organics and be extra healthy!
