Lucena Bureau of Fire Protection Celebrates Fire Prevention Month with Fun Run

 As part of the 50^th Fire Prevention Month celebration, Lucenahin firefighters will hold an exciting fun run with the theme: “Takbo Laban sa Sunog” on Saturday, March 12, 2016.

The event features a 3K and 5K run/walk that will start at 5:00 AM at the Pacific Mall Grounds and aims to promote fire incident awareness, the roles of citizens and firefighters in fire prevention, and emergency and safety procedures before, during, and after fire incidents.

Each participant will receive a finisher’s certificate and race bib.

The funds that will be raised from the proceeds of the event will be used to improve and renovate Lucena City Fire Station.
