Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Lucena Office

Created by virtue of RA 9514, otherwise known as “The Fire Code of the Philippines of 2008”, the Bureau of Fire Protection was established to prevent and suppress all destructive fires; investigate its causes; provide emergency, medical, and rescue services; and enforce other fire related laws with the active involvement of the community.

The Lucena City Fire Station BFP Contingent is composed of 46 personnel. There are at least an adequate number of six (6) serviceable fire trucks, good enough to control small-scale fires within the city.

In addition to those, the Chinese Fire Brigade and the Quezon Metropolitan Water District also have one (1) fire truck each to assist the Bureau of Fire Protection in case of fire and other emergencies.
